It is in the mountain area crossed by Salado River in Malargüe District, 207 km from San Rafael city. It is one of the most important international ski centers in the country. It also offers different alternative such as mountaineering, fishing, cavalcades and trekking among others. You arrive from San Rafael traveling National Route 143 and then Provincial Route 222, completely paved. Las Leñas Valley, in its base is 2.250 meters over sea level, between hills of 2.600 and 4200 meters high. . It has soft slopes for novice skiers and others more difficult for intermediate and expert skiers. The activity doesn't cease when the snow disappears. Being close to Los Molles Valley, and Valle Hermoso (Beautiful Valley), it offers the tourist the possibility to enjoy these attraction during the whole year.
