Diamante
River is born in the homonymous lagoon, in the Andes Mountain
range. Its basin has also been used for hydroelectric production.
It generates a total of 340.000 Kw with its four power stations.
This Circuit is conformed by Los Reyunos Dam, El Tigre Dam,
Galileo Vitale Dam and Villa 25 de Mayo, four places of great
beauty that invite to know them and to enjoy them.
You start this circuit for Route 143 going west after passing
by the Christ's roundabout that forks toward Mendoza and 25
of May Village, in this last place our journey begins. This
circuit can be made as trip leaving from the city or from
some other circuit Also,
it is possible to have lodging using its alternatives. Before
the previously mentioned roundabout you can include in the
circuit, the visit to well known cellars, including Bianchi'
Champagne Cellar. |
